Communication Skills for Admins

This comprehensive, 12-hour course focuses on communication skills of particular importance to Administrative Assistants. Topics include writing clear, well-organized email messages and action items, listening actively, and conversing constructively. Through discussions, assignments and scenario role-plays, participants put into practice strategies that ensure a productive, collegial work environment.

Group size
Groups are usually comprised of a minimum of 10 participants.

Schedule
Scheduling details are arranged according to your preferences. Workshops are typically one to three hours long. Workshops are available both within and outside business hours. Short Courses usually involve four two-hour weekly sessions.

Locations
Locations vary, but training is usually provided at your workplace. Centres currently served include Toronto/GTA, Waterloo Region, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.

Cost
Costs are based on the number of participants and length of training.
