Designed for individuals who speak English as a second language, this course develops clear, melodious speech patterns. Accurate enunciation is highlighted, with a focus on the mouth positions and airflow patterns of Canadian English vowel and consonant sounds. Melodic patterns and voice dynamics are also addressed, with attention to rhythm, stress, intonation, linking, phrasing, rate of speech and voice projection. The on-line version of this course involves a combination of weekly live audio-visual interaction with the instructor plus daily pronunciation self-study using course MP3s and an audio lab.

The e-learning version of this comprehensive course involves approximately one hundred hours of study spread out over ten to thirty weeks. (The course can also be taken as three separate modules.) Daily on-line self-study is supplemented by weekly telephone coaching sessions. Coaching time slots are arranged to suit your preferences and are available both within and outside of business hours
